MARION, VIRGINIA: ADA MARIE VAUGHT DILLMAN, age 77, widow of Troy F. Dillman, Jr., died Monday, July 20, 2009 in Mayfair House, Claypool Hill, Virginia. She retired from Southwestern State Hospital after 30 years of service. She was active in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church. After Troy's death, she moved to Tazewell where she became active in Main Street United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and David Britton of North Tazewell, Virginia; one granddaughter, Jennifer Bowman and husband, Dave of Chesterfield, Virginia; one great-grandson, Britton Reid Bowman; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Lois and Leroy Holder of Fort Branch, Indiana, and Alice Tenbarge of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Kathie Wilson-Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
