SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: ANNA MAE WOOD LEAMAN, age 86 died January 14, 2011 at Francis Marion Manor.
She was born September 29, 1924 in Pageton, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, A.J. Wood Jr. and James C. Leaman; a daughter Erma Kaye Harner Wilson.
Mrs. Leaman is survived by three sons; Charles "Pete" Wood of Sugar Grove, Virginia, Richard "Rick" Wood of Richlands, Virginia, and Jackie "Jack" Wood of Marion, Virginia; one daughter DeeAnna Wood of Glade Spring, Virginia; two brothers; Ivan Stone and wife, Chris of Delaware, Roger Stone and wife Marie of Baltimore, Maryland; sister-in-law, Sue Stone of Baltimore, Maryland; brother-in-law Kyle P. Hawthorne of Sugar Grove, Virginia; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; very special friends, Mildred Sprinkle, Linda Russell, Pam Shelton, Loretta Garett, and Ethel Johnson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Don "Tinker" Stone officiating. Private burial will be held in Cress Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
