Anthony Melvin Lambert

MARION, VA: Anthony “Tony” Melvin Lambert, age 54, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a brief and sudden illness, Friday, December 18, 2015 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 29, 1961 to the late Don and Lucille Lambert. Tony was a member of the first graduating class of Welch, West Virginia’s Mount View High School in 1979. Tony was the life of the party. Any room he walked into, instantly came alive. He was adored by both young and old. Tony absolutely loved to vacation and if someone was going to the beach, he’d drop his scissors and be ready to go in a heartbeat! Tony was a Master Hair Stylist in Marion for years and made many people look and feel their best with his talent and personality. He was a huge presence and Tony’s absence will be felt and known by his family, his friends and his community. Tony Lambert will be missed. Tony is survived by his partner and love of his life, Kevin Holbrook and Kevin’s son, Devin; two daughters, Debra Ann Caldwell and Donna Minear of Raleigh, NC and their mother, Dianna Sandy; 3 sisters, Gwen Gorrell, of Middlebourne, WV, Judy LeMasters, Drema Crdona and friend, Mack Payne of Bluefield, WV; 3 brothers, Clark Lambert and wife, Dreama of Jasper, AL, D.D. Lambert and wife Lucinda, Kirby Lambert and wife, Mary of Bluefield, VA, 5 grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Mike and Aaron Gorrell, Steven Lambert II, Steven “Rusty” Collins, Cindy Jo Smith, Jodi-Lynn Kimball, Gigi Austin, Phillip Carter, Donna Michelle, Kirby Joe Lambert and Brittany Moore; great nieces and nephews, Bobbi-Jo Altizer, Krista Kimball, Levi and Lexi Smith, Cianna Carter, Tyler Mills, Nicholas Skeens and Maddi Jackson. A Memorial Service to honor Tony’s life will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 6 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion, VA.
