MARION, Va.
Ardell B. Presley, age 88, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Greystone Healthcare Center, Blountville, Tenn.
Mrs. Presley was a busy woman. She was an ordained minister who was concerned over people's souls. She shared the gospel and ministered to everyone she met, and she met a lot of people. Mrs. Presley was a waitress for over 30 years, she owned the Truckers Restaurant in Abingdon, Va. off Exit 19 for many years, and she was employed for 14 years with Bristol Compressors. Above all she was a loving wife, mother and friend to everyone she came in contact with.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Ralph H. Presley; son, Rex H. Presley; parents, Earl and Ernestine Martin Colver; and two brothers.
Mrs. Presley is survived by her son, Don W. Presley and wife, Natalia Lefter of Marion, Iowa; twin sister, Arleen Kelley of La Crosse, Wisc.; sister, Hazel "Tootsie" Iverson and husband, Eldon of Hokah, Minn.; granddaughter, Amanda Victoria Arnold of Konnarock, Va.; special friend, Pastor Tommy Arnold; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Bald Rock Cemetery, 2013 Roberts Cove Road (Rt. 674), Flatridge, Va. 24378 with Pastor Tommy Arnold officiating.
