Audrey Hearrell

MARION, VIRGINIA: AUDREY DUNFORD ZARINS HEARRELL, age 67, on the morning of September 13, 2015, lost her courageous battle against cancer. Audrey was being visited and comforted by her son at Spohn Shoreline, Corpus Christi, Tx, at the time of her passing. She was born Audrey Dunford on April 16, 1948 to the late Maxine and George Dunford in Marion, Va. Audrey was a loyal and caring wife of three late husbands. She went to school and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She later owned and operated the successful Lonestar BBQ. Audrey even became a certified welder and lived an active and successful life. She loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Haga and one brother, Raymond Dunford. Audrey is survived by her son, Jacob Zarins; two brothers, Dennis and Frank Dunford; two sisters, Patsy Walters and Barbara Testerman; two granddaughters, Sarah Zarins and Skylar Reid; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jerry Creasy officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
