Bart Weems

MARION, VIRGINIA: BART CLAYTON WEEMS, 52, died June 27, 2015, in Bristol, Tenn., after a lifelong battle with alcoholism. He is preceeded in death by his father, Charles Lewis Weems, and his paternal grandmother, Ina Weems, both originally of Rogersville, Tenn.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Armstrong Weems Earp, and his sister and brother-in-law, Lee Ann and Mark Prescott, all of Marion; his niece, Sarah K. Prescott, Greensboro, N.C.; his Uncle Walter A. Armstrong and Aunt Teresa Armstrong Swaggerty, Knoxville, Tenn. He will also be missed by his stepfather William M. (Bill) Earp, Sr., Marion, and stepbrother William M. (Billy) Earp, Jr., Tenn.
