MARION, VIRGINIA: BESSIE DERBYSHIRE WILLIAMS, age 99, died Tuesday, April 03, 2007 in Pulaski Community Hospital, Pulaski, Virginia. She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Williams was formerly of Marion, Virginia and for the last several years, had made her home in Dublin, Virginia with her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Cleo Williams; three sons, John L. Williams, Warren C. Williams, and R.L. Williams. Mrs. Williams is survived by one daughter, Mary Alice Sheets of Dublin, Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Mary Jo Williams of Newport News, Virginia, and Jack O. and Delcie Williams of Chilhowie, Virginia; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. at South Fork Baptist Church, Marion, Virginia, with Rev. Mark Totten and Rev. Bobby Blevins officiating. Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at South Fork Baptist Church.
