SEVEN MILE FORD, VIRGINIA: BETTY BLEVINS CULLOP, age 76, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee.
Betty was a member of the Seven Mile Ford Presbyterian Church. She was part owner / operator of Goodman's Jewelers in Saltville and Marion and Hudson Jewelry Company of Chilhowie, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Roy Cullop; and her parents, Graham and Fannie Widener Blevins. Betty was loved and treasured by everyone that knew her.
She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Wilson and special friend, Bobby Sweat of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia; one sister, Terri Martin of Marion, Virginia; one brother, Fred R. Blevins and wife, Peggy of Yorktown, Virginia; one grandson, Tyler Wilson and wife, Ashley of Draper, Virginia; one great-granddaughter on the way; one step-grandson, Austin Wilson and wife, Kristina of Elgin, South Carolina; three step-great-grandchildren, Madison, Abigail and Colin; nephew Michael Martin and wife, Gwen of Lynchburg, Virginia; niece, Sabrene Willis and Husband, Gordon of Roanoke, Virginia; two great-nephews, Davis and Hayden; one great-niece, Sophia; caregivers, Betty Thomas, Lucille Smith and Rosa Roark; and her favorite guard dog, Toby.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jack Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
