MARION, VIRGINIA: BETTY HASH DANIELS, age 74, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion Va.
Betty was a simple woman and was of the Baptist faith. She was a Farm Fresh warehouse manager and was well respected. She was a wonderful sister, mother and cook who loved to eat. You always knew exactly where you stood with Betty. Now her 12 years of suffering is done. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Dina Bailey Hash; sisters, Viola Hall, Ada Coomes, Okie Fritz and Mary King; brothers, Willie "Bill" Hash and Dave Hash.
Betty is survived by three sons, Michael Willis of Asheville, N.C., Tony Willis and wife, Teresa of Virginia Beach, Va., and Samuel Willis of Suffolk, Va.; three sisters, Lida Parks of Churchville, Md., Joann Parks of Atkins, Va., and Brenda King of Marion, Va.; four brothers, Letcher "John" Hash, Leonard Hash both of Marion, Va., Rick Hash of Havre de Grace, Md., and Max Hash of Marion, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Va. with Reverend Bob Surber officiating. At Mrs. Daniels request there will not be a public visitation.
