MARION, VIRGINIA: BEULAH LUCILLE DENNISON, age 82, died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Smyth County Community Hospital in Marion, Virginia.
She was born February 1, 1930 in Smyth County to the late William and Virgie Pickle Greer. Raised in Smyth County, she was a lifetime member of Adwolfe Freewill Baptist Church. Beulah loved her grandkids, singing and her church family. Well loved and known as "bird woman", she was a mother to everyone.
Beulah is survived by her husband of 67 years, Walter J. Dennison of Marion, Virginia; two daughters, Darlene Lundy & husband, Jimmy of Galax, Virginia and Rhonda Stamper; two sons, Roger Lee Dennison and Bo Dennison and wife, special daughter-in-law, Tina; two sisters, Mary Dennison and Janie Rich, all of Marion, Virginia; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Bob Surber and Reverend Jim Taylor. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
