MARION, VIRGINIA: BILL STAMPER, age 74, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He was retired after 35 years of service from the Atlantic Research as a technician who made missile parts. He also loved hunting with his beagles, fishing and his friends. Mr. Stamper is survived by his wife, Joyce Stamper of Marion, Virginia; Two daughters, Brenda Tanner of Centerville, Virginia and Betty Peterson of Manassas, Virginia; Two sons, Billy Stamper of Warrenton, Virginia and Brent Stamper of Marion, Virginia. Two sisters, Eva Hutton of Illinois and Wanda Teaters of Florida; two brothers Joe Stamper of Marion, Virginia and Roy Stamper of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia. Six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 23, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. David Neitch and Rev. Joe Powers officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
