Billy Browning

BILLY RAY BROWNING age, 71, went to be with Jesus on Friday, December 31, 2010 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born, September 27, 1939 in Logan, West Virginia He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Nina Browning, brother, Gene Browning; grandson, Dylan Hall; granddaughter, Leann Clark; and son, Donald Lee Browning. Billy was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and worked part-time at the Forestry Department in Sugar Grove, Virginia. He loved going to and singing in church. Survivors include, his wife, Gracie A. Browning of Sugar Grove, Virginia; son, Kenneth D. Browning of Sugar Grove, Virginia; two daughters, Kimberley Hall and husband Wayne of Marion, Virginia, and Elizabeth Clark and husband Robert of Kansas; grandchildren, Angel Hall of Marion, Virginia and Bobby and Renae Clark of Kansas; sister, Betty Heath of Marion, Virginia; brothers, Ronald and Ralph Browning of West Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and his special pet, "Buddy". Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January, 4, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Billy Gwinn and Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Francis Marion VFW Post #4667. Private burial will be in Attoway Cemetery.
