Billy Robert Pennington, age 76, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Va.

Billy was happy with himself, and when you spoke to him, he would smile at you, and manage to find out a little something happening in your life. Any time you saw him, he would ask how you were and check on the situation you shared with him – not to make small talk, but because Billy genuinely cared. His smile and sincerity will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mary Pennington; sisters, Marie Fry and Katherine Dillow; brothers, Harrison Testerman, Wilson Testerman, and Charles Eller.

Billy is survived by two nieces, Jennifer Hutton of Atkins, Va. and Amy Taylor of Saltville, Va.; his Francis Marion Manor family; and special care-giver, Don Musser of Marion, Va.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 4 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Blake Frazier officiating.
