ABINGDON, VIRGINIA: BONNIE SULLINS FORD, age 69, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005. She was born in Hemphill, West Virginia, and lived in Abingdon most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Howard D. and Ida James Sullins. She was a bookkeeper and bank teller for many years and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John B. Clark and her second husband, Albert "Bud" Ford; a sister, Marcelle Sullins Harless; and a brother, Gale D. Sullins. She is survived by two sisters, Jean Sullins Campbell and Joyce Sullins both of Abingdon, Virginia; three brothers, Dr. Howard O. Sullins of Chester, Virginia; Thurman D. "Jack" Sullins of Woodbridge, Virginia; and Ernie Sullins of Marion, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services were held at Knollkreg Memorial Park, Abingdon with Rev. Jerry A. Eggers officiating. In accordance with the stated wishes of Mrs. Ford, services and burial were private.
