Brenda Tibbs

MARION, VIRGINIA: BRENDA GAY POWELL TIBBS, age 71, widow of Jimmie Tibbs, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Francis Marion Manor. Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was exceptionally sweet natured and was always helping others. Mrs. Tibbs is survived by four daughters, Pamela Ann Tibbs and Lauren Katie Tibbs both of Ceres, Virginia, Beth Brown and husband, Jim and Patty Rhea Tibbs all of Bland, Virginia; two sons, Gary Michael Tibbs of Ceres, Virginia and Jimmie Lewis Tibbs of Meadowview, Virginia; three grandchildren, Derek Scotty Tibbs, Kayla Rochelle Tibbs and Lindsey Marlene Pires all of Bland, Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Round Hill Cemetery with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
