Buddy L. Buchanan

MARION, Va.

Buddy L. Buchanan, age 63, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va.

He was born July 2, 1958 in Smyth County, Va. to the late Thomas and Mary Hess Buchanan. Buddy was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, and any activity that would have him enjoying being outside.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Buchanan; and sister, Barb Buchanan.

 Buddy is survived by his significant other, Miranda Justice of Pikeville, Ky.; children, Jeremiah Buchanan and Lorelei Buchanan; sister, Becky Guy (Kenny); brother, Glen Buchanan all of Marion, Va.; special friends, Ronnie Davidson, Roger Ashley and Christy Hall.

In keeping with Buddy’s wishes, there will be no public services.
