Callie Farris

CHILHOWIE, VIRGINIA: CALLIE REEDY FARRIS, age 96, died Saturday October 6, 2007 in Chester Nursing Home in Chester, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Farris; her parents Joseph and Henrietta Reedy; and two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Virginia and Melvin Adams of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Paulette and Lynn Campbell of Mechanicsville, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Cynthia Dalton, Scott Adams, Carol Cameron, Ira Adams, Rebecca Browder, Jennifer Ortman, Julie Anne Morgon; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery Chilhowie, Virginia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, October 10, 2007 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
