Charles Woodrow Felty

BRISTOL, Va. 

Charles Woodrow Felty age 70, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home.

Charlie was a loving husband, dad and papaw. When he felt like it and in his better days, he loved working on old cars. He was a natural. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. In his good and bad days, he never lost his corny sense of humor – he always had Lena laughing. At his heart he was the best. It takes a special man to raise his family and then his new wife’s child. Charlie was a good man and he will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Virginia Felty; brother, Howard William Felty.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Lena Felty of Bristol, Va.; daughter, Katelyn Mallett of Bristol, Va.; sons, Charles Martin Felty of Marion, Va. and Michael Wayne Felty and wife, Kate of Chilhowie, Va.; sisters, Sue Johnson and husband, Jim of Bristol, Va. and Sherry Oliver and husband, Roger of Bristol, Tenn.; grandchildren, Gabrielle Alicine Felty of Marion, Va. and Harley Jacob Felty of Chilhowie, Va.; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 3 p.m. at the North Bristol Baptist Church off Exit 3, I-81, 146 Church Street, Bristol, Va. 24201 with Pastor Travis Ingle officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations for final expenses would be appreciated.
