Charles Porter

WYTHEVILLE, VIRGINIA: CHARLES E. PORTER, age 70, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at his home in Wytheville, Virginia. He was a graduate of Rural Retreat High School where he was active in the Future Famers of America. Mr. Porter was retired and had always loved working with his hands. He is survived by one stepson, John Eller and wife, Ann of Merritt Island, Florida. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Nouhad Melki officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
