Charles Scott

MARION, VIRGINIA: CHARLES E. "PETE" SCOTT, age 68, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Francis Marion Manor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Pauline Ayers Scott and one sister, Glorianna Munsey. He was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation after 35 years of service. Pete is survived by one son, James Earl Scott and wife Theresa of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two sisters, Sylvia Scott West and husband Bob of Sugar Grove, Virginia and Linda Scott Blevins and husband, Jr. of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Elizabeth United Methodist Church with Reverend Charles Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in Pugh Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Elizabeth United Methodist Church, Teas, Virginia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Elizabeth United Methodist Church, 5522 Sugar Grove Highway, Sugar Grove, Virginia 24375.
