CHARLOTTE DARLENE STROUTH SCHULTZ went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 21, 2008 at her home. She was born and raised in Rich Valley, Virginia. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all. She lived in St. Joseph, Michigan until her retirement at which time she moved back home. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Susie Strouth; her first husband, Sherman Eugene Lamie and her second husband, Marvin Gene Schultz; one brother, Wayne Strouth of Petersburg, Virginia; She is survived by her daughter, Sherree Lamie Hartwig and husband, Steve of Benton Harbor, Michigan; two granddaughters, Megan Kratt and husband, Andy of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Kristin Johnson and husband, Will of Bozeman, Montana; two brothers, Johnny Strouth of Tazewell, Tennessee and Ronnie Strouth and wife, Betty of Saltville, Virginia; three sisters, Maxie Anderson and husband, Buddy and Sylvia Waddell and husband, Harold all of Saltville, Virginia, Shirley Cassell and husband, Woody of Ceres, Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Will Shelton officiating. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgedale United Methodist Church Cemetery, Rich Valley, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
