MARION, Va.
Chris “Moe” Langston, age 45, died, August 5, 2018 at Francis Marion Manor in Marion, Va.
How do you put Moe into words? If you were looking for a good time and a load of crazy, you would find Chris Langston and a ton of friends. Everyone knew Moe to be mischievous and fun, but his heart was made of pure gold. His boys were the joy of his life. He loved his family and enjoyed his time camping, fishing, squirrel hunting, riding ATV’s and watching his sons play football. He was absolutely loyal to his family. He loved his country and proudly served in the United States Marines. Moe wasn’t perfect, but none of us are. His love and loyalty to his God, family, friends, country and English bull dogs was perfect. The stillness and quiet is noticed and Moe is missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Cordia Bear.
Moe is survived by his sons, Jacob Langston and special friend, Skylar Shupe and Chance Langston; mother, Becky “Twinki” Langston; sister, Kim Langston and husband, Dennis Parnell; and brother, Ben Langston all of Marion, Va.; nieces and nephews, Kai, DeNae, Slate, Braxton, Logan and Brooke; several cousins, tons of friends and special friends, Brian Burkett, Allison and Willie Carter, and Taloni “Paige” Dalton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Blake Frazier and Mark Hoffman officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by United States Marine Corp and Francis Marion VFW Post # 4667. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion Senior High School Wrestling Club, 848 Stage Street, Marion, Va., 24354.
