ATKINS, VIRGINIA: CLARIS LARUE DOLINGER WYATT, age 73, widow of William Earl Wyatt, died Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home, Marion, Virginia. She was born February 12, 1933 in Smyth County, Virginia to the late Robert Fred and Clyde Blevins Dolinger. Besides her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Junior Dolinger and a great-grandchild, Brandon Lee Coley. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and James Vipperman of Ceres, Virginia; Two grandchildren, Jamie Vipperman of Ceres, Virginia and Michele Hammond and husband, Chris of Radford, Virginia; Two brothers, Ralph Dolinger of Marion, Virginia, and Ronnie Dolinger and wife, Geneva of Lorain, Ohio. Four sisters, Patsy Musser and husband, Bill and Roberta Hamm and husband, Ronnie all of Marion, Virginia, Betty Robins and husband, Wilmer of Bristol, Virginia, and Wilma Jean Waddell of Bluff City, Tennessee; Three sisters-in-law, Lena Wyatt of Marion, Virginia and Betty Jo Testerman and Lillian Wyatt both of Chilhowie, Virginia; One brother-in-law, Larry Wyatt and wife, Brenda of Chilhowie, Virginia and lots of nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers will be Chris Dyson, Fred Wyatt, Jerry Testerman, Billy Joe Testerman, Petey Testerman, and Dick Powell. The family would like to give a special thank you to Robin Firebaugh and Tammy Gross of Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home and to the Hospice of Southwest Virginia. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Bob Surber and Rev. Joe Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Grosses Creek Cemetery, Chilhowie, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
