MARION, VIRGINIA: CLAUDE STREET, age 78, died Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Bristol, Tennessee. He was a resident of Ridgefield Assisted Living, where the residents and staff considered him to be part of their family. Everyone was blessed by his kind nature and he was loved by all. Mr. Street was exceptionally polite and a true "gentleman". He was a veteran of the Korean War, proudly serving in the United States Army. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Mr. Buddy Wagoner officiating. Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City, Tennessee with Chaplain William H. Presley officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Marion VFW Post 4667, P. O.
