SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: CLAUDE EDWARD WOODS, age 79, died Saturday, December 9, 2006 at his home in Sugar Grove. He is survived by Okie Campbell Woods, his wife of 56 years; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Wayne and Brenda Woods of Marion, Virginia, Blaine Woods, Dan and Vickie Woods, and Jeff and Teresa Woods all of Sugar Grove, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Bobbie Jean Crouse, Rebecca Pennington, Missy Kelly, Sarah Owens, Whitney Woods, Shelby Woods, and Mason Woods; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wharf Hill United Methodist Church in Sugar Grove, Virginia with Rev. Mike Ward and Rev. Kenny Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Pugh Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Seaver-Brown Chapel.
