Cornelia Ann "Connie" Bell

WYTHEVILLE, Va.

Cornelia Ann “Connie” Bell, age 87, passed away Saturday December 21, 2019 in the comfort of her home in Wytheville, Va. She was born January 16, 1932 in Natick, Mass. Connie began babysitting children early on at the age of 12. She was always considered a care-taker. She loved doing stained glass and spending time with her friends and family. Connie married her husband James A. Bell in Londonderry, N.H. on April 28, 1967 and they were happily married for 52 years. She always had a smile on her face and was a faithful servant of Jehovah since 1975. Connie was loved by many people and always easily well liked. She would talk to anyone, it didn't matter if you were a stranger. She always wanted to share the word of God with someone in the grocery store. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by many. Connie is survived by her loving husband, James Arthur Bell of the home; daughters, Laura Nickerson Papineau of Fla., Sharon Nickerson of Mass., Donna Cassel of N.C.; sons, Raymond Nickerson of N.H. and James A. Bell, II of Va.; grandchildren; Paige Nickerson Shipwash of Va., Faith Bell of Va., Kathie Cassel Carpenter of N.C., Ellice Cassel Skretvedt of N.C., Amber Cassel Hudson of N.C., Adam Papineau of Tx., Bryan Papineau of Fla., Matthew Papineau of N.H., Steven Papineau of N.H., Thomas “Tommy” Papineau of Fla.; and numerous great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Connie's memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 3 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 250 Grayson Road, Wytheville, Va. 24382.
