Danny Price Frye

CHILHOWIE, Va.

Danny Price Frye, age 73, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Va.

Danny was born in Saltville in 1947 to the late Danny E. Frye, Jr. and Dorothy Frye. He was a humble but proud U.S. Army Veteran, earning multiple honors for marksmanship. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years Ruth Frazier Bonham Frye.

Danny is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; brother-in-law, Jay Bonham and wife, Dana of Marietta, Ga.; good friend and care-giver, Steve DuPriest of Bristol, Tenn.

Private burial will be held at St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery, 538 St. James Road, Chilhowie, Va. where Danny will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife,  Frazier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 796, Chilhowie, Va. 24319.
