David Glenn Broyles

David Glenn Broyles age 87, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, Va.

David was a proud U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran, retiring after 22 years of service to his country. Once back in civilian life, David became a long haul/over road truck driver for twenty years. He lived a simple life, enjoying his travels - especially Las Vegas, and had a fondness for corvettes. Above all, he loved his family, especially the grandkids who called him “Bumpy”, a nickname his mother gave him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orie and Daisy Broyles; brothers, Jerry Wayne Broyles and Orie Van Broyles.

David is survived by his wife of 54 years, Tandra Meserve; daughter, Marcey Lynn Broyles both of Claypool Hill, Va.; brother, Danny Ross Broyles of Plain City, Ohio; grandchildren, Judson Zane Vandyke and Jenna Vanalee Wiggins; several nieces and nephews and their families.

In keeping with David’s wishes, there will be no public service.
