SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: DEANNA KAYE HAWKINS, age 52, died Monday, April 28, 2014 at UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia. Deanna was a very loving mother. She loved her family, animals and being outdoors. She was not just a mom and granny, but a friend to her world, Brandon and Joshua. If you met her, you liked her right away because of her love for life. Her life wasn't perfect, but the love for her family was what made her smile. Deanna is survived by her ex-husband, Carter Hawkins of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one son, Brandon Dean Hawkins and wife, Ida of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one step-son Carter Lee Hawkins of Marion, Virginia; half-brother, Fred Wyatt and wife, Melissa of Marion, Virginia; step-mother, Lena Wyatt of Marion, Virginia; one grandchild, Joshua Aiden Stamper; four step-grandchildren,Bhrianna Hawkins, Katilin Hawkins, Sarah Hawkins, and Carter Lee Hawkins, Jr.; several nieces and nephews and loving friends and family. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Billy Gwinn officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the Hawkins Family.
