Dewey O’quinn age 82, passed away Tuesday, April 09, 2024 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Va. 

Dewey was an awesome, fun, loving dad and friend who didn’t know a stranger. To know him was to love him, just as he did everyone else. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Anna O’quinn; brother, Wesley O’quinn.

Dewey is survived by his loving sons, Anthony White (Kimberly Olinger) and John “JP” O’quinn, both of Sugar Grove, Va.; sisters, Dorothy Buchanan of Mechanicsville, Md., and Louise Compton of Belleview, Fl.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and adored doggy, Willie. 

In keeping with Dewey’s wishes, there will be no services.
