Don S. Linkous

Don S. Linkous, age 68, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at his home in Dublin, Va.

Don was a member of Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church and Union Valley Church. He loved the Lord and attending church to worship. Don enjoyed playing guitar, supporting his favorite team the Virginia Cavaliers and singing gospel with the Watchman. His favorite time was time spent with his grandkids fishing, swimming, playing basketball. Being their Papaw was his favorite title.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Reba Linkous.

Don is survived by his daughters, Angie Cupp (David) and Brandy Phillips; sons, Jon Linkous (Kelley) and Josh Linkous; brother, Dale Linkous (Debbie Smith); 8 grandchildren, Corey Linkous, Conner Linkous, Kristen Linkous, Kailey Linkous, David Cupp, Islay Cupp, Grace Phillips and Hayley Phillips; nieces, Logan Wall and Carrington Teass; and numerous special friends.

The family will hold a service at a later date.
