Dorothy Haga

PLEASANT VIEW, TENNESSEE: DOROTHY LOUISE SCOTT HAGA, age 82, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at her home after a long illness. She was born May 28, 1923 in Marion, Virginia, and lived most of her life in Gray and Kingsport, Tennessee. She was of the Christian faith and was active for many years in the Order of the Eastern Star (Gray Chapter). Dorothy will be missed greatly by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Jean Haga Baumgardner of Los Almos, New Mexico; one sister; two brothers; and two great-grandsons. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Samuel Haga of Pleasant View, Tennessee. Three sons, David Haga of Fall Branch, Tennessee; Charles Haga of Pleasant View, Tennessee; and Lester Haga of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Burton's Chapel Church, Grayson County, Virginia, with Rev. Jack Haga officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
