Dorothy Martin

MARION, VIRGINIA: DOROTHY MABE MARTIN, age 70, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Roanoke, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents James Albert and Mary Elizabeth Robinson Mabe; four brothers and one sister. Dorothy is survived by two sisters, Bertha Reeves and husband Carson of Marion, Virginia and Helen Coley of Wytheville, Virginia; two brothers, Charles M. Mabe, Sr. and wife, Peggy of Nottingham, Pennsylvania and Hurley "June" Mabe and wife, Pat of Marion, Virginia; a dear friend whom she thought of as a son, Matt Stultz; many good friends and special neighbors; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion with Reverend Harry Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Attoway Cemetery in Marion. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
