ATKINS, Va.
Edith Marie Hall Robinette, age 88, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the home of her caregiver and niece, Peggy Price and husband, Doug.
She was born October 31, 1927 in Smyth County to the late Steve and Ida Cline Hall. Edith was a member of the Church of God in Atkins. She loved her Lord and Savior, her church and her family. She worked at Burlington Mills and Buster Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Ralph Robinette; two brothers and two sisters.
Edith is survived by her step-son, Emory Robinette and wife, Georgia of Atkins, Va.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and loving friends and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Justin Keene and Pastor Charlie Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Wassum Cemetery, Atkins, Va. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service.
