Ernest Neal Anderson age 90 passed away into the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, September 20, 2024 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Va.

 Furniture was Neal’s passion. Along with his wife Minnie, they established Anderson Furniture in Atkins, Va. The family store operated for 45 years. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie & Thelma Anderson; infant son, Gregory Neal Anderson; brothers, Edward, Robert & John Anderson; sisters, Dorothy Stevenson, Shirley Helton & Linda Doyle.

 Left to cherish Neal’s memory are his wife of 65 years, Minnie Anderson; sons, Keith Anderson (Robyn) & Kevin Anderson (Stephanie); grandchildren, Alex Anderson (Samantha) & Reid Anderson (Meredith); great-granddaughter, Aria Anderson; several nieces & nephews & their families; many friends. 

 Special thank you to the caring staff at Francis Marion Manor & Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia. 

Memorial services will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 3p.m. at Rose Lawn Mausoleum, 4410 Lee Highway, Marion, Va.
