ATKINS, VIRGINIA: EVELYN "TOOTSIE" BURCHETT ADAMS, age 70, widow of Robert C. "Bob" Adams, died Thursday, February 03, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Chilhowie, Virginia. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Kayretha and David Vanhoozer of Chilhowie, Virginia; and Erin Blevins and fiancé, Ralph Bonham of Sugar Grove, Virginia. One son, Robert "Bobby" Adams, Jr. of Atkins, Virginia. Seven grandchildren, Jason and wife, Donja, and Bryan Vanhoozer; Lakin, Hayley, Hunter, and Ethan Adams; and Madison Blevins. A special friend, James McGrady. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Gardens, Atkins, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
