MARION VIRGINIA: EVELYN MAXINE HAGA HAULSEE: age 77, widow of Garland E. Haulsee, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 in Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion Virginia. She was born to the late Alden and Polly Cole Haga. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Charles "Chappy" Thomas. She was a lifelong resident of Marion. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Thomas, and Debra and Allen Mays, all of Marion, Virginia; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Hada Haulsee, of Winston Salem, North Carolina; four sisters, Margaret Hawks of Thomasville, North Carolina, Louise Musser of Manassas, Virginia, Ruth Seamer of Thomasville, North Carolina, Carol Lee of Lake City, Florida; one brother, Lawrence Haga of Cheverly, Maryland; six grandchildren, Lear M. Haulsee and wife, Christy, Gloria Haulsee Davis, and husband, Robert, Zachary M. Haulsee, Alexandra M. Haulsee, B. J. Bell, and Alexus Smith; one step-grandson, Matthew Thomas; four great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Bryan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The Family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
