EVERETTE O. POWELL, age 62, died Friday, January 16, 2004 at his home in Marion, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Clark Powell; his father, Ernest Powell; and his brother, Harold Powell. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and David Reece of Butler, Tennessee. One son, Keith Powell of Marion, Virginia. His mother, Alice Greer Powell of Marion, Virginia. Four sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha Gullion, Janet and Bill Greer, and Yvonne Powell all of Marion, Virginia, and Yolanda and Don Compton of Sarasota, Florida. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 19, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. William T. Wing, III, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
