Frances Cox

MARION, VIRGINIA: FRANCES HAWKS COX, age 76, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Twin County Regional Healthcare, Galax, Virginia. Frances was a member of the Marion Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife and mother who truly loved her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred and daughter, Kim. She is survived by one daughter, Wynn Fair and husband, Mike of Jonesborough, Tennessee; two sons, Jim Cox and wife, Diann of Wytheville, Virginia and Tim Cox and wife, Kathy of Marion, Virginia; one sister, Janice Clapper of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Chris Meadows, Kelly Meadows, Frankie Meadows, McCloud Cox and Callee Frances Cox; two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Meadows and Hunter Meadows; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Marion Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Marion Baptist Church.
