Gerald Garland Richardson

MARION, Va.

Gerald Garland Richardson, age 77, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Fairview Home in Wytheville, Va.

Gerald was a special soul. He loved chocolate pie, good home cooked food and being warm. Gerald had a wonderful sense of humor and would often make up his own names for normal, everyday things. He loved Laura and Jeremy Smith, their family, the caretakers and all of the residents of Country Retreat in Marion. Gerald had a kind heart and sweet smile that will be missed. Gerald enjoyed the last of his life peaceful, settled, and full of love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Whitehead and Virginia Richardson.
