Grant Hall

MARION, VIRGINIA: GRANT SETH HALL, age 71, formerly of Marion, Virginia, died Friday, May 21, 2004 at his home in Sevierville, Tennessee. Born April 7, 1933, he was the son of the late Herman Grant and Clara Woods Hall. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Olivene Hall and one son, Aaron Shawn Hall; and three brothers, Donald Lee Hall, Willard Price Hall, and Fred Elbert Hall. Grant was a hard working and successful man who had served as a father to many. He loved cooking, canning, providing for his family and friends, and thoroughly enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Andrew Cox of Marion, Virginia and Mandy and Steve Poston of Sevierville, Tennessee. Two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sandy Hall of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Grant, Jr. and Pam Hall of Marion, Virginia. Five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Linda and Bill Hanshew and Zana and Jackie Fisher all of Atkins, Virginia; Frankie and Harold Minnick of Chilhowie, Virginia; Brenda H. Blevins and Dorotha H. Elswick both of Marion, Virginia. Two brothers and sisters-in-law, James Keith "Pete" and Mary Ann Hall and Ronnie R. and Shirley Hall all of Marion, Virginia. Twelve grandchildren, Jessica Ann Hall, Jacob Aaron Hall, Crystal Michelle Hall, Aaron Christopher Hall, Ryan Andrew Cox, Justin Grant Hall, Jonathon Paige Hall, Olivia Clair Bailey, Jordan Dwayne Bailey, Rachel Gray Poston, Isabella Grace Poston, and Joshua Aaron Hillard. Many nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Georgia Campbell. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 23, 2004 at 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Neville Mozingo, Rev. Mark Lundy, and Rev. Ryan Andrew Cox officiating. Graveside Services will be held Monday, May 24, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
