Harold Guy Haulsee

Harold Guy Haulsee age 95, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Va.

Guy was a simple man who loved his family – he was a devoted husband, dad, and grandfather. Guy was a long haul truck driver for many years and retired to enjoy life with his wife of 60 plus years in 1986. He was a proud Army Veteran who loved his country. Guy lived a good and long life and will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florida Aker Haulsee; parents, Ryland and Eva Haulsee; three sisters, Magnolia, Georgia and Jackie.

Guy is survived by two sons, Darrell Haulsee and wife Mary Anne of Glen Allen, Va. and Donald Haulsee and wife, Kay of Claremont, Va.; sister, Billie Parsons of Marion, Va.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Graveside services will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Barbara Doyle officiating and Military Rites conducted by the U.S. Army Funeral Honors Guard and Francis Marion VFW Post #4667.
