Hope Julie May Smith, age 59, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at her home in Marion, Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Smith; parents, Willard William and Luella Landis Smith; brothers, Mark Smith and Daniel “Duck” Smith; sister, Ellie Smith.

Hope is survived by her daughters, Tabitha Ruth Smith and Angela Dawn Smith-Stacy and partner Bobby G. Combs; sons, Christopher Michael Smith and wife, Kayla Renee Smith all of Marion, Va., Christopher J. Cornett of Texas, Charles J. Cornett and wife, Cynthia of Marion, Va.; sisters, Linda Ambrose and husband, Earl, Patty Butts and husband, Garry, all of Hedgesville, W. Va., Shannon Owens of Ga.; brothers, William Smith and wife, Kay, David Smith and wife, Brenda, all of Hedgesville, W.Va.; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Watson of  Marion, Va., Nina Hagy and husband, Robert of Frederick, Md.; grandchildren, Santino Smith, Kaylah Dawn Harrington, Amber Ruth Harrington, Alexus Jade Smith, Ava May Smith, Christopher Hugh Smith, Donald David Smith, Justice May Ring, Ralph Mitchell Ring, Saffire Rose (Sassy) Carter, Talia Hope Smith, Serenity Julie May Cornett, Jericho White Cornett, Shaylee Cornett, Leland McGlocklin; great-grandchildren, Amberlynn Noel Lungaro, Victoria Kay Lungaro; special nephew, Timothy Hagy; special friends, Robert and Clarise McGrady and brothers, Marvin Thompson and family; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Groseclose, Va.
