Jackie Lee “Jack” Bell age 83, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his home.

Jack was a ginseng miner and life-long junker who loved to trade. He was a big-hearted man who would open his doors to anyone in need. But being a grandpaw was his favorite thing.

He was preceded in death by two sons, John Wesley Bell and David Wayne Bell; mother, Claire McGrady.

Jack is survived by two daughters, Anna Gross (Michael Harden) of Atkins, Va. and Marie Bell Barns of Highpoint, N.C.; son, Jesse Bell of Marion, Va.; two granddaughters, Tabitha Gross and Tina Bell, both of Marion, Va.; three great-grandchildren; special friend, Greg Snavely of Marion, Va.

In keeping with Jack’s wishes, there will be no public services.
