MARION, VIRGINIA: JAMES A. "JIMMY" SHULER, age 57, died Sunday, October 8, 2006 at his home. He was born in Smyth County on July 14, 1949 to the late Claude and Agnes Osborne Shuler. He was self-employed for many years having owned and operated the Village Truck Stop and worked at Rowland Petroleum for several years. He is survived by his wife, Joie Shuler of Marion, Virginia; One son and special daughter-in-law, Jeff and Sarah Shuler of Bristol, Tennessee; Three brothers, Calvin Shuler of Salem, Virginia, David Shuler and Billy Shuler both of Marion, Virginia; Three grandchildren, Cole Shuler, Haley Shuler, and Justin Williams; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. Mark Ross officiating. Burial will be in Rose lawn Cemetery.
