James “Jamey” Wiley Stowers age 53, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at his home.
Jamey was a true family man who was crazy about his wife, kids, brothers and sisters. He liked watching the Dallas Cowboys – especially when they were winning. He felt at home in the saddle on a horse and enjoyed shooting his guns. The happiest you would find him was with family. Jamey will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Maxine Stowers; father and mother-in-law, Trubie and Blanche Dillman; sister-in-law, Carolyn Stewart; great-aunt, Ethel Dillman.
Jamey is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia Dillman Stowers of Marion, Va.; daughters, Michelle Ann Stowers (Auston) of Meadowview, Va. and Jessie Nicole Stowers (Jimmy) of Abingdon, Va.; son, Joseph Steven Stowers of Marion, Va.; sister, Opal Karlene Lambert (Tony) of Stoney Fork, Va.; brothers, Fred Henry Stowers and Wiley Melvin Stowers (Trish) all of Max Meadows, Va.; sisters-in-law, Libby King of Bland, Va., Sandy Vipperman (Dan) of Alabama, Sue Ratcliffe (John) of Atkins, Va.; brothers-in-law, Danny Jonas (Donna) of Cripple Creek, Va., Rick Jonas of Sugar Grove, Va. and Bobby Dillman (Debbie) of Vass, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Chad Blizzard of Marion, Va. and David Henderson of Saltville, Va.
