Jeffrey Muncy

WYTHEVILLE, VIRGINIA: JEFFREY WADE MUNCY, age 41, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 in Wythe County, Virginia. He was a 1981 graduate of Marion Senior High School where he played football and was a veteran of the United States Army where he served for six years. Jeffrey was an artist, who loved to draw and loved building hotrods. He was also an incredible Miami Dolphins fan. His son was an important part of his life and he truly valued the time he spent with him. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Ruby Quillen Sturgill and Bill and Callie Rife Muncy. He is survived by his parents, Ray and Elda Sturgill Muncy of Marion, Virginia. One son, Bobby Lee Muncy of Sugar Grove, Virginia. One sister, Shawn Muncy of Marion, Virginia. One brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Brenda Muncy of Marion, Virginia. Two nieces, Brittney Muncy and Jessica Sutphin. One nephew, Taylor Muncy. Special friends, Lorinda Williams and her nephew, "Doodlebug"; Larry Norman; Kristin Norman; and Michael Thomas also survive. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 21, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. David Neitch officiating. A private burial will be held at South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
