MARION, VIRGINIA: JIMMY LEE WARREN went to the Kingdom Of Heaven to join his Heavenly Father in the early afternoon hours of August 13, 2009 after a brief illness following surgery earlier in the week. He was preceded in death by his first loving wife Nancy, his daughter Cheryl, his son Brian, his parents and one brother. He is survived by his loving and dear wife Charlotte, his youngest son, Mark, his daughter-in-law Maria E. Warren, his loving grandsons Kevin and Lee Warren, all of Knoxville TN, his brother Clyde "Zeke" Warren, his sister Doris W. Van Blaricom, several nieces. nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and many special friends. He was loved and will be missed by many...especially his family. Jimmy was born in Glade Spring, Virginia on January 03, 1932. He graduated Marion Senior High and Attended The University of Virginia. He has served the citizens of Smyth County and the Commonwealth of Virginia for the last 35 years as Clerk of the Circuit Court of Smyth County. He was a life-long member of First United Methodist Church in Marion and served in many civic postions and organizations during his life. He was also the Youth Governor of Virginia during High School. Friends will be received at Seaver Brown Funeral Home in Marion on Saturday August 15 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Sunday the 16th at First United Methodist Church in Marion at 3:00 p.m. with a committal service immediately following in the church. Rev. Jonathan Jonas will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FUMC in Marion, the Brian Warren Children's Education Trust Fund, AmSouth Bank, 9206 Parkwest Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37923 and to the Nancy H.
