RICH VALLEY, VIRGINIA: JONATHAN A. SUMMIT, age 60, died Monday, January 21, 2008 in Medical College of Virginia Hospital, Richmond, Virginia after a battle with cancer.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tonya Wilhoit and husband, Brian of Liberty, Maryland; two sons, Nicolas and Timothy both of California; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph L. Summit and wife, Mary of Rich Valley, Virginia; one half-brother, Allen Summit of California; one half-sister, Evelyn Summit-Humphrey of California; two grandchildren, several nieces one nephew and several great-nieces also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Jerry Yates officiating. A private burial will be in Hubble Cemetery, Rich Valley, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
