Jonnie Bell Pruner, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at her home in Marion, Va.
She was born on January 14, 1946 in Marion to the late Andrew Stephen Pruner and Flora Marie Cook Pruner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Rev. Ralph T. Hubble.
Jonnie was first and foremost a servant and minister to her Lord as she was called into missionary work. She served on numerous trips to Central and South America, but was not limited only to these regions. She has been known and is known for her reputation to highly influence and witness for her Lord and Savior to anyone who would listen. Her ministry and missionary work was certainly her passion.
Jonnie will certainly be missed, but she now resides safely in the Savior’s arms and is at peace.
Jonnie is survived by her step-sister, Darlene Richardson and husband Donnie of Shawsville, Va.; nephew, Dale Heath of Marion, Va.; first cousins, Judy Gorham and husband Perry of Roanoke, Va. and Ronnie Cook and wife Nancy of Petersburg, Va. and a close friend, Betty McClure of Marion, Va.
Memorial Services to honor Jonnie’s life will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Rick Stancil officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
